Scuba Oasis

Underwater navigation skills are an important part of diving.  The PADI Underwater Navigator program will teach you skills that will increase your confidence and reduce stress and anxiety levels.  In turn, improves your air consumption and gives you more time to enjoy the dive instead of concentrating on not getting separated from your dive buddy and/or getting lost.  The skills you learn during this program will provide a good base from which to develop further diving skills e.g. search and recovery dive.

Prerequisites:

• Be 10 years of age or older

• Be certified as a PADI Open Water diver, Junior Open Water diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization

Program Structure:

1) Knowledge Development

2) Open Water Dives - 3 underwater navigation training dives 
- 2D2N at Pulau Dayang, Malaysia
- 2D2N at Pulau Tioman, Malaysia
- 2D2N at Pulau Tinggi, Malaysia

Diver Certification:

After you have successfully completed the program, you will receive your PADI Underwater Navigator Diver specialty certification.

Note: The underwater navigation dive from the PADI Adventures in Diving program may be counted towards the certification requirements for this specialty at the discretion of the instructor conducting the specialty program.

*There are special requirements for student divers who are 10 and 11- year-olds.
