Pulau Redang

Malaysia's state of Terengganu is blessed with 3 marine parks and one of it is the Redang Archipelago.  These marine parks are protected under the Marine Parks regulations administered by the Department of Fisheries, thereby preserving the marine environment around the area.

Redang archipelago comprises 9 islands with white sandy beaches, crystal clear blue sea and a brilliant underwater world.  This group of islands is recognized as having one of the best coral reefs and marine ecosystems in Peninsular Malaysia.  Hence, the real fantasy island lies beneath the water.  The waters surrounding the 9 islands of Redang form one of the richest marine habitats that await you to explore.

Located 45 km off the coast of Kuala Terengganu, Pulau Redang is the largest of the group.  The island is rewarded with nutrient rich waters from the South China Sea and is home to many varieties of captivating marine life and reef building corals.

Together with its breath-taking sunsets, the paradise-like island is perfect for scuba diving, snorkeling, or simply relaxing. Pulau Redang offers many sites and activities for both scuba divers and non-divers.
