Scuba Oasis

Interested in more adventures and experience the diversity that scuba diving gives us?  The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver program can be done immediately after the PADI Open Water Diver program.  This program fine tunes your dive skills and allows you to explore the most intense adventures scuba diving has to offer!  It is a vital step in making you more experienced and confident as a scuba diver by allowing you to experience different types of diving under the supervision of an instructor.

Less formal classroom but more in-water learning oriented, this program requires you to participant in 2 adventure core dives (i.e. Underwater Navigation and Deep Diving) and 3 adventure elective dives that might include:

1. Night diving
2. Boat diving
3. Drift diving
4. Multilevel diving
5. Underwater Naturalist
6. Peak Performance Buoyancy
7. Aware Fish Identification

Prerequisites:

• Be 12 years of age or older
• Be certified as a PADI (Junior) Open Water diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization (defined as proof of an entry-level scuba certification with a minimum of 4 open water training dives).

Course Structure:

1) Knowledge Development
Knowledge review for each adventure dive must be completed by the student and reviewed by the instructor
When: Every Wednesday
Time: 18:45pm – 22:00pm (approx)

2) Open Water Dives
- 2D2N (5 training dives) at Pulau Dayang, Malaysia
- 2D2N (5 training dives) at Pulau Tioman, Malaysia
- 2D2N (5 training dives) at Pulau Tinggi, Malaysia
- 2 days (5 training dives) at Pulau Hantu, Singapore

Diver Certification:

After you have successfully completed the program, you will receive your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.  With that, continue your scuba diving education with the PADI Emergency First Response and PADI Rescue Diver programs.

The PADI Adventure Dives can be credited towards the corresponding PADI Specialty Diver certifications.
