Open Water Diver

Dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world!  This is your ticket to a lifetime of scuba adventures and experiences.  Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.  As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you will have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional and supervision.

Open Water Diver

Prerequisites:

  • Be 15 years of age or older
  • Complete a 10-miniute swim/float without using any swim aids
  • Complete a 200 metre continuous surface swim or a 300 metre swim with mask, snorkel and fins

Program Structure:

1) Knowledge Development
5 modules through independent study and in a classroom (including knowledge reviews and final examination)
When: Every Monday and Tuesday
Time: 18:45pm - 22:00pm (approx)

2) Confined Water Dives
5 modules of scuba skills in a swimming pool/confined environment
When: Every Sunday
Time: 9:00am - 15:30pm (approx)

3) Open Water Dives
- 2D2N (4 training dives) at Pulau Dayang, Malaysia
- 2D2N (4 training dives) at Pulau Tioman, Malaysia
- 2D2N (4 training dives) at Pulau Tinggi, Malaysia
- 2 days (4 training dives) at Pulau Hantu, Singapore

Diver Certification:

After you have successfully completed the program, you will receive your PADI Open Water Diver certification.  With that, continue your scuba diving education with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver program, your next level in discovering and exploring the underwater world.
