Scuba Oasis

Are you looking for a convenient way to try scuba diving?  Get yourself enroll in the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience to broaden your horizons.  This program introduces you to scuba diving in a highly supervised and relaxed manner.  It dispels common misconceptions about scuba diving by letting you try it for yourself.  Under the guidance of a PADI professional, you will learn basic safety concepts, put on equipment and swim around underwater in a closely supervised environment i.e. in a swimming pool or on vacation near open water.

Prerequisites:

• Be 10 years of age or older

• Review, completed and sign the PADI Discover Scuba Diving affirmation of risk and medical history form before entering the water

1. Parent or guardian signature required for new divers younger than legal age

2. If the new diver answers “yes” to any condition on the form’s medical history section, the diver must receive medical approval prior to any in-water activities

Diver Certification:

After you have successfully completed the program, you will receive your PADI Discover Scuba Diving certification.

During the Discover Scuba Diving program, should you choose to incorporate as well as at the PADI Instructors’ discretion to introduce, skills from the PADI Open Water Diver program confined water dive 1 and/or open water dive 1 can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver program requirements upon completion.

Either way, you can continue your scuba diving education with the PADI Open Water Diver program, your next level in discovering and exploring the underwater world.
